Council TaxMarch 2006 It has become clear to us that many people blame Elmbridge Council for our Council Tax bills. As can be seen from the graph below Elmbridge is responsible for only a small
part of the tax we pay and, since the Residents Group took control in 1993, the
Elmbridge share of the tax for a band ‘D’ house has increased by only
£33 over the whole 14 years, while Surrey CC’s has gone up by £640!
