05/12/2017 – Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Funding
The impact of growth and progress on an area can often cause frustration with busier roads, longer wait times for GP appointments and fewer school places, but the Community Infrastructure Levy or CIL can help.
Created by the Government in 2010, it allows Councils to raise funds from some new forms of development, to help fund the infrastructure demands of new housing development in an area. In the last few years this funding has contributed to a number of local projects, and Elmbridge Council is now inviting applications for funding from the CIL for more local projects.
We would encourage all local organisations who have ideas and projects to improve local infrastructure in Molesey to apply. Applications should be submitted between 20 November and 19 January, adn furtehr information, and the application form, is available on the Elmbridge Council website.
