Boat Moorings – Update from the Environment Agency
We have been advised that the Environment Agency has served notice on 26 September on a number of boats being used as a domestic residence at West Molesey. These boats are moored without permission. The notice gave the owners seven days to move their boats from their current position downstream of Sunbury lock where they are trespassing on the river-bed. Should the boats not be removed, the Environment Agency will soon initiate steps to obtain possession orders from the Court.
