Former Hurst Park School Site

A number of residents have asked what has led to the current acticvity at the former Hurst Park School site.

Surrey County Council (SCC) is constructing some temporary classrooms and associated buildings and play areas on the site or use by the Fox Grove School, an all-through special free school in Leatherhead. The school will use the site over the next 8 months while work continues on its permanent buildings.

A retrospective planning application had been submitted, and this is likely to be approved by delegated authority at SCC.
