Free swimming lessons and free lifeguard training

Elmbridge Council has published the follwoing information abut free swimming lessons and lifeguard training.

“As part of the summer Respect The Water campaign in support of our Drowning Prevention Plan, we are offering a free swimming course  for non-swimmers aged 12+ and a free lifeguard course for young people aged 16+ at the Xcel Leisure Complex during the May half-term school holiday, in partnership with Places Leisure.

The free lifeguard course will open the pathway to a potential apprenticeship at Xcel/Hurst Pool following the qualification.
