Additional information regarding Section 52
Information has now been made available from the Council, that the Section 52 agreement, made in 1984, for control of the use of the open land at the Pavilion site, was rewritten under the new planning code of ‘Section 106’ in 2003. As far as the land is concerned, there is no significant difference in that the replacement Section 106 agreement still protects the open land for recreational use. Anyone writing to the Council and wishing to make reference to the legal agreement on the land, can still refer to the original ‘Section 52’ but it would be useful to add…….’and as updated by the 2003 ‘Section 106’.

Elmbridge Council Protocol
Please note that Cllrs. Ian Donaldson and Tony Popham, listed as members of the North Area Planning Committee, will be barred for technical reasons from sitting with the Planning Committee when the Pavilion application 1010/1609 is taken. Therefore, the Molesey Residents Chairman, Cllr. Nigel Cooper, will specify substitute councillors from Molesey R.A. once the meeting date is known. In the meantime, please still write to or contact these councillors, who will pass all representations on to their substitutes once these are selected.
