Local Elections March 2024 – Update
Elections 2 May 2024
On Thursday 2 May 2024, Elmbridge residents will go to the polls to have their say on who represents them for the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Surrey and on Elmbridge Borough Council. A by-election will also take place in Claygate Parish.
Photo ID is now required to vote at a polling station. If you don’t have accepted photo ID, you can apply for a free voter ID document, which is known as a Voter Authority Certificate. The deadline for this is 5pm on Wednesday 24 April. There is no voter ID requirement for postal voting.
Pre-election guidance applies to all council members, candidates and employees from 18 March 2024 to the date of the election.
