Suspension of Highway Work

Residents of Molesey, please be aware that all highway work is now suspended until the floods problems disappear. All Highway staff are on Flood duty and no pothole filling, resurfacing or other highway work
will be undertaken, (unless it is a severe safety problem) until further
notice and presently, there is no known timescale.

Central government has said it will fund all the Council’s Flood costs, so it can be assumed that the normal Highway funding is unaffected as the Highway’s current staff duties and the contractors costs on flood work, will be paid for by the government.
