The High Court has quashed the decision by the Appeals inspector, who upheld the refusal by Elmbridge for houses at The Pavilion site, on a technicality that one part of inspector’s statement said the ‘Houses would be out of character with the area’.   This means that the public enquiry against building on the Sports Ground will have to be re-run at the Council on 26^th & 27^th March.
